Make Waves!

Get ready for the Summer Reading Program! Kids entering grades 6 and up can sign-up in one of three ways:

1. Sign up when you visit the library all day, any day beginning Monday, June 21.

2. NEW THIS YEAR!! You can sign-up online! Click on the Summer Reading Club blog and follow the instructions. (Click here )

3. Come to Lunch at the Library on Tuesday, June 22 at noon. You can sign-up there while you eat pizza. (Be careful--don't get tomato sauce on the journals.)

The first 25 to sign up will receive a bag of goodies. Complete a Library Challenge card and win a $5 gift certificate to McDonald's or Friendly's and the chance to win a set of wireless headphones or an MP3 player.

Pick up a calendar of events the next time you are in the library or download a copy--the link is right under the photo of the books. Make special note of the Family Concert titled "African Rhythm and World Music" with instrumentalists Jay Cook and Steven Leicach on Thursday, July 8 at 6:30. Spend your summer at the coolest place in town--the Springfield Town Library!
